A lot of that squad is what O'neil had to work with and Iraola has improved every one of them. Although he hasn't been perfect in the transfer market. even though he has signed the likes of Evanilson and Huijsen, he also spent quite big on Sinisterra and Unal who have only been bit part. Kepa is easily the best loan signing of the season. Recruitment clearly is massively important, but there's not much point in having a great recruitment if the manager is a moron.
