I was in the Moate House Hotel in the mid 80s and the team were there, I went to the loo only to find Rats punching the head off Stevens and other players trying to separate them.

At the time Stevens was linked with a few Page 3 girls and 'allegedly' he hit on Ratcliffe's Mrs, much to the ire of rats who followed him into the toilet to have a word.

Sheeds said it was all a misunderstanding, but Stevens had plenty of claret on his shirt and was quickly helped out the door.
