we are already likely to definitely losing Broja, Harrison, DCL, Keane, Lindstrøm, Doucoure, Young and Coleman, and I think it's right to be pretty ruthless in the clearout but that's enough churn for one window and I wouldn't be tempted to move on any of the players who are still under contract. I'd move to sign up Alcaraz, hoping the leaving him out is part of some kind of negotiation tactic (though I have a nagging feeling Moyes is just not convinced by him, which would be a shame). Gueye should obviously stay, and I expect him to get an offer soon.

Bring in a striker, a wide right forward or winger, a right back and a centre mid of the right calibre in the summer and we'll have a squad that should be capable of a top half finish at least.
