1) i dont care who wins, was reeling you in
2) microsoft is a terrible company, all those acquisitions are possible as they milked all their users with telemetry and adverts
3) ps users dont want xbox live, there’s only a few exclusives
4) steam on playstation would be cool but steamOS is coming.

I care which is best value and offers the best pound for pound deal and its unquestionably xbox/gamepass at the moment (although Steam / Pc is still on the rise and will continue to grow and grow)
For microsoft gamepass is their future - they pretty much announced their 20yr vision 5/6 years ago and its panning out, with a few hiccups granted.
Gamepass is on xbox, its on pc
We now see MS games on playstation and nintendo - and more will follow
(Sony has put some games on steam, but with plenty of issues sadly)
Thats laying the ground work, wont be long before ninty and sony cave, and allow gamepass on their platforms.
Keep in mind, Sony and MS lose money on every console they sell.
Sonys strength has been high quality internally made games.
But its been a bit light on the ground this gen.
