Hoping for any little bits Pablo is able to share as they come along and waiting on the official news from the club as it appears.
Should say the statement from new CEO about the stadium was well crafted when it came out yesterday and I think timing was good before the last men’s senior game.
I don’t have a ticket for Sunday and so liking that I will be able to take in some more games (it will be a nice stress relief from trying to get hold of tickets via the painful online system this last six months as just a member). Think there could be a bit of increase in women attendances (people saying they only get small attendances need to factor in that their current ground is tiny so exactly the same the men have had at Goodison with no opportunity to grow further and moving to BMD will definitely see bigger sell outs each game)
I noted it said some work to take place for the women’s team and their next WSL season - hope there’s something done regarding those dressing rooms they were awful and want any new women signings to feel as much pride as the men when they start life at BMD.
I hoping over time it gets gradually transformed to include the hubs and facilities as part of a stadium and community asset that continues to put the other lot to shame Previous Message
How will it work? Will the stands remain the same? Attendance? Could it be used for central league games? Or even early rounds of the league cup?
