My comment was 100% about the women’s team getting a proper home etc. It wasnt about any Goodison etc.

My guess is that it WILL be disposed of in some way as previously announced and it may take a few years to do that.I’m sure TFG are making a lot of revised financial reviews to maximise their investment. It’s a business after all and it will be treated as such, something we’ve probably been lacking for a couple of decades. I’d be very disappointed if TGG stuffed the local community. There’s nothing I’ve seen from them that makes me suspicious about their motives etc.

If, in the meantime, the ladies team have a good home worthy of them, then I think it’s a good mid term compromise.

What a load of crap, it's a total shit show on the local community. The club don't want/can't afford/ can't be arsed with the original Goodison Legacy proposal that was discussed when the planning consultation for BM was applied, it was all just words to get the planning permission!

"And the club's current Goodison Park site is to be converted to high-quality, affordable housing, a health centre, retail and leisure spaces and a youth enterprise zone for the Walton community"

So now it'll become a relic of the past, quickly become a total shambles of its former self because of lack of investment,and in a year or two be sold off to a development company that doesn't give a toss about the local community and build no social infrastructure just as many apartments as possible.

But hey, you lot can slap yourselves on the back for now as the pretence of a useful future for your nostalgia helps with the wrench of leaving.
