...in the Alex Young Suite at Goodison, and although you obviously wouldn't expect them to say anything different, I'm very comfortable indeed with the team that we have taking us forwards into the new stadium.
The event itself was great - Derek Temple was being awarded the Dixie Dean Memorial Award and was interviewed by the Heritage Society chair and former Echo journalist Ken Rogers about his Everton career, then we also heard from Moyes, Irvine, Ronnie Goodlass, Peter Reid and Derek Mountfield - with the last 2 both speaking absolutely brilliantly and passionately about their memories, particularly from Goodison Park.
It was a really great evening and set us up brilliantly for the last goodbye on Sunday.
