Will be really interesting to see how he gets on. I think a few of us wondered if he'd be worth a punt (before Moyes came back).

Rangers seems a smart move for him - a prestigious club but poor league. Even Gerrard looked a good manager there and got his move to the PL. But the fact he wasn't fancied by a bigger team maybe suggests he'd have been a high risk appointment.
