And we’re being linked with £30m for Delap. But if Beto is so limited why can’t we pick up someone from the championship or a minor European league for £20m who’d do a better job?

I honestly can’t decide if he is evidence for how hard it is to sign a PL striker or how easy it is.
On the one hand, he’s very limited and we’d probably need to spend £30m+ to improve on him.
On the other, he’s very limited and yet he’s got to double figures.
Maybe we should just decide that he’s our main striker, lots of minutes, play to his strengths - keep the money for a new contract for Branthwaite.
