He’s playing well today, because he’s doing the simple things well. He doesn’t need to overdo things thanks to McNeil, Ndiaye and Alcaraz playing. Previous Message
I think I've misrepresented myself a bit!
I think he's decent and has potential to do better, but I'd just hope that where we intend to go, the players in the team now would be squad players, and so on.
Obviously picking a day he's doing great was a mistake Previous Message

I'd just hope for more. I think he's a solid Premier League player. Previous Message
Covers the back four. Has pace, tackles well, rarely loses possession and plays the odd defence-splitting pass.
I would play him every week. Previous Message
Beto scored two against Leicester, I still think he's toss! Previous Message

i think that's the XI we wanted to see and the front 4 all played big parts in our two goals.
hopefully the Doucoure/Harrison axis of attackers who are picked for their defensive work is a thing of the past
BUT Alcaraz and McNeil both like moving into central areas, which means all our width has to come from the full backs, which puts a lot of work on Garner and Gana to cover ground in the middle of the pitch.
Against a better side I think we'd be too exposed but given it's Ipswich we're good value to be a goal ahead.
I don't think this is the formation/personnel we should be planning around for next season but feels like at least Moyes is thinking about more attacking options. I'd love us to have a pacey direct wide forward. We could upgrade at fullback. Beto doing well and I think it's going to be hard to get a proper upgrade on him.
