An equally unfit player as DCL possibly/arguably…
Prem Appearances 279
across ten seasons (one more than DCL)
Prem goals 108
Previous Message
236 Prem appearances
57 Prem goals
SEVEN seasons with less than 10 goals a season.
Four of those seasons with 5 goals or less
ONE season with 13 goals (19-20)
ONE season with 16 goals (20-21)
£100k a week?
With all respect, some of you have to take off those blue tinted specs. He’s filling a squad number that can be much better utilised. Lovely lad and all that but we wouldn’t miss him.
I’m presuming other clubs looked at that scoring history and particularly the amount of injuries he’s had, and decided, nope, we can do better, and I suspect any ‘offers’ he’s had reflect that.
It would be a win for him to get a new EFC contract. But it’s the equivalent of bring a blue home. He’s probably a decent championship player (go compare!)…
However, if he’s offered and accepted a new contract it gives EFC book value for him at a future point of sale etc

Who wouldn't want to be part of that?” - Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Obvioulsy running short of any offers for his new contract
Our best striker at the club with 22 in 77 games, not enough but on his day unplayable
Worth a punt for two year deal in my view
