We’ll need to walk before we can run. We’re not going from austerity to another Moshiri type splurge form his early years.
Cunha seems to have interest from Man Utd but whatever happens he’s not swapping Wolves for us.
I think if Branthwaite goes then we might have a decent amount to spend but other than that I’d say our spend will be in line with most of our peers there or thereabouts.
There’s talk we might need a small sale prior to 1st July for PSR.
I think we’ll be trying to extend Doucoure. We’ve already outlined our intention to Gana for him to stay. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they go back to the table with Calvert-Lewin and see what he thinks. Doesn’t mean we won’t still try sign another forward too.
Resigning these players means no transfer outlays. If all 3 go then that’s 3 we have to spend £ on just to replace them….and we will need numbers this Summer. Budget will only stretch so far. Previous Message

How much do you think we'll have to spend?
Given the extreme austerity we've endured for the past few seasons, new owners, some debts cleared, new stadium and commercial revenue, could we do what Brighton did last summer?
I'm not advocating spending for spending's sake. I just want us to buy the right players regardless of cost. But surely there's a bit more powder in our keg now
And given how transfer spend is spread across contract length, could we say just for example sign Cunha for £60 million, Delap for £40 million and Mbeumo for £50 million on 5 year contracts, and only book £30 million as expenditure on player recruitment for 2025?
