I’ve been a few Spanish games and they do this great service where a guy walks up and down the stairwells with a barrel of lager on his back and a tower of plastic cups. You order drinks by raising the required amount of fingers and the fans in the row pass along the drinks to you. Then they pass your money back along the row until it gets to the vendor.
Can you imagine that happening over here?? Previous Message
I had a ticket in the Bilbao end at the Bernebeu a few years back.
Incredible!
They never stopped singing even though they were getting tonked. Previous Message
We are staying in a hotel 5 minutes walk away
From Real Betis stadium so decided to buy a ticket
For their European Conference league 1/4 final tonight
So glad I did - I don’t know if all Spanish matches
Are like that but the Betis fans were incredible
Never stopped singing throughout - 56,000 in a 61,000
Stadium and it was deafening
Not sure if anything to do with it but the ticket only cost £23
No ale inside the ground but lots of people drinking in the bars before outside
That Isco chap looks quite good but perhaps we already knew that
An experience I will not forget
