Its no different to us extending Gana Gueye's contract for another year as 1/ we'd have to replace him and 2/ pay wages to someone else
For Liverpool to replace salah, they'd have to pay £100m and probably £250k/week
Salah has been as good as any player in Europe this season and rarely gets injured
