....would refer you to the ill-fated "Gwladys Street Presents" events that they planned to kick off our farewell season to Goodison.... £55 (or £120 "VIP" which added a photo and a central/front seat) to sit in the Gwladys Street and watch Leon Osman interview Gravesen, Carsley and Amokachi...sales were absolutely awful, so rather than reducing the price, instead they started adding more and more players...still sales were awful, and I think they were up to about ELEVEN players appearing before they eventually binned it.
It only makes commercial sense if you sell out at the price you've set for them.
In my opinion they made a huge mess of our final year at Goodison. I know that's been against the backdrop of the takeover and financial uncertainty and possible relegation, so I get it, but they've still made a mess of it. 3 games left at Goodison and other than few "themed" days there's been very little done. Its a one off limited sale - they will want to make as much money as possible from folks who are willing to pay $$$. Makes commercial sense to get it. I would rather they do that and make the match affordable which is a greater benefit. Previous Message
...without going and checking, and for those of you who haven't seen the promo emails...the club are selling these.
There's a poll below as I'm interested to see what people think of the pricing...
