Boro on numerous occasions- we used to have a mad rivalry with them. I recall 'someone' putting a concert edging over on e of their grocks and it just made him angry. I reckon he had a bad head the next day.
Port Vale in the snow one year.
City in Stanley Park
A minibus of Sunderland throwing bottles at us by the tramway only of them to get caught up in traffic and the minibus to be wrecked and the inhabitants set upon. 3 slashed I think.
Millwall last time they came up and shat themselves. Phone call went 'we've landed' 'where are you' runcorn?'
the equivalent of us turning up at Milton Keynes and saying we've landed.
Southampton had a fucking good go one year.
United many times most recently the valley where the myth of the unbeatable united took a pasting.
Telford- a coach load of them ambushed by the lights in the valley did not end well.
I recalll Leicester getting tricked into an ambush years back- they ran into what they thought was 5 Everton only for us to come out of the jigger firmed up. Sadly slashing happened. Previous Message
I wonder what will go down as the best/worst game (depending on your viewpoint) for crowd violence at the old place?
I’m going left field and saying the 1985 FA Cup semi final.
United definitely the best firm to visit Goodison over the years, followed by Boro.
