Unless we have Nev as one of the 2 keepers , obviously Previous Message
Couldn't we put a couple of them on the subs' bench, instead of the usual two keepers? Previous Message
...(and purely from fans, nothing "insider" just for the record) that there are going to be LOTS of ex-players invited to the final game - however, the issue then would be where to stick them to watch the match because obviously every single fan would love to be there, and might be put out at the fact that an ex-player was given a seat when they couldn't get one?
Hopefully Southampton will take us their usual allocation and free up the Upper Vistors section, but I doubt they will be sticking the former players over there... Previous Message
At the end of the soton game I think it would be an idea that after the first team and management take their bows that players from each decade come out to say hello. Of course the legends and cult heroes should get their time to wave goodbye but I'd also like to see some other players get a chance to.
No doubt Wayne Roonwy may feature, but if he can be at Goodison then why cant say - Gary Lineker? Previous Message
I'd like to see a few true legends at half time in the final game(s)
the likes of Royle, Harvey, Southall, Reid, etc
not Cahill, Dunc, Fellaini and Phil Neville
losing just a little more faith every day, and credibility too apparently
