I wasn’t warned beforehand. The place is a literal shrine to Trump and MAGA. It even had a Trump/Musk/Maga/Guns merchandise tent at the entrance. It was packed

The merch was what you would expect in North Korea - images of Trump as a crusader on a steed, Trump with big machine guns, anti Bided/Harris merch - the urinals in the men’s room have pictures of Biden on them.

The place was a permanent party for Trump and this has only increased since the election. The owner of the chain funded buses to take rioters to the Jan 6 insurrection (lets call if for what it was).

Combined with what we have seen in the past two and a half months, it is very reminiscent of the early, and rapid, phase of Hitler’s take over and dismantling of German democracy - all with the support of his idolizes. I was shaken by it.

I do fear for the US.
