people wanted to get off and walk but the driver said he wasn't allowed to do that. Eventually a bus company official on the sidewalk told him to turn left and go around past the IOM terminal. When we got to the end at Regent Rd he let anyone off who wanted. The bus then carried on up Parley St to Gt. Howard St to the corner of Blackstone St. I opted for the bus back to Commutation Row which took about 10 mins. Previous Message

The shuttle bus from Liverpool one took an age because of the half marathon traffic etc. lots of people getting twitchy to get off and walk. Mostly because everyone wanted to explore what was “inside the wall “
Got to ground just before kick off and in the upper North and everything from a ground perspective was great, plenty of space , toilets etc and when you walk up the steps to see the pitch it’s breathtaking.
The shuttle bus back was miles better.
The slow journey there is probably a win win for the club as it will make me get there much earlier and spend more at the stadium plaza Previous Message
You don’t appreciate the size until you’re inside. Steepness of South stand is actually scary - my missus had to move to the front.
Concourses were big with plenty of space and toilets.
My other take away was how dreadful our youngsters looked. Some looked like they’d never played the game. Bolton were a lot more comfortable on the ball.
