Ali was sick for many years.
Foreman was rich and was free of obvious injuries. In many ways he was the most succesful.
Dunno why Frazier said Ali was the greatest, maybe to lift his own legacy. They way Foreman took him apart, you’d think he should say Foreman was the best. Previous Message
to suggest that Ali was in fact the greatest, as did Smokin Joe Frazier. In the end all three seemed to have great respect for each other and appeared to be genuine friends. Previous Message
What an amazing guy.
The way he took Frazier apart. The crushing blow to finish off Cooney. The brutal Lyle fight.
The warmth towards Ali, the turnaround of his personal life. The smile. The wit. Great american hero.
Wondering if we’ll ever have them again. Doesn’t look like it.
