I just wondered, given I was 10/11 at the time and it felt harsh, cos he was so good in 84/85
I recall him being out for a while at one point and as a kid when we signed watson I remember thinking mountfield would be playing as soon as he was fit, only Watson pretty much came in and kept his place
always felt a bit harsh
