If Capacity was 65k then in a couple of years time people may not bother getting season ticket as they would be able to pick and choose their games
Pre Xmas you could get a ticket for any home game quite easily
Obviously now fans are wanting to get to Goodison for their last time so demand is high
BUT next season we will be able to hold 14000 more Everton fans than this season
39% more Everton fans - that's a big number Previous Message
Just wondering, now it's finished and we'll be there soon enough, what are people's thoughts on the capacity?
Is 52,888 the right move
Should we have pushed for 55k or 60k or even higher.
This is not a moan.
I think the difference between 55k and 52k is small enough that it doesn't matter. But should we have gone for 60k?
Perhaps that extra push would have bankrupted us, or left us missing out on a player and we'd be heading into the new ground in the championship.
I suspect 52k will be fine, but I can't help but think in 10yrs time the club might be looking at how it can be extended a little.
