6 squads between now and 2026 WC, I'll be very surprised if this squad bares any resemblance to the squad he takes to WC.

PL team bias apart - we'd all prefer JB over Burn, but what he has done is open the door...

With Burn inclusion is send a message to any player with aspirations no matter how old or previous international experience - you have a chance
With Rasford & Henderson, he's saying, no matter your personal struggles - you have a chance
With Lewis Skelly - young players who can step up and perform at a higher level - you have a chance

I susepct his first 3-4 squads will look at a lot of players, and then narrow it down to most likely squad for the WC 2026. There will be the usual press cryarsing "why didn't you pick x, y, or x" but I suspect he will give a lot of players a chance to make the final squad.

And c'mon, surely any potential England squad player who looks at that squad and sees Dan Burn in there, will be thinking... I have a chance.
