This whole idea of ‘electing a businessman’ as though it will improve things is ridiculous, even before you get into the fact that he’s a 6-time bankrupt grifter.

Governments and their departments are services, not the art of the deal. Of course they should be efficient but they are not designed to trade, hence profit or the lack of it is not an issue. They should simply aim to provide the best service with the funds available.
