I've got to say it was great for us , but seems we were in a minority judging by Twitter comments.

Parked the car at Crosby station, waited two mins for a train and 18 mins later got off Sandhills and walked the 15 mins to ground .

Left at the final whistle, walked to Sandhills and were waved straight through the "holding pens", up to the platform and an 8-carriage train arrived a minute later and took everyone off up the Northern Line

we were sitting at home 45 mins after the final whistle and caught the last 15 minutes of Leeds Sunderland game.

I realise that once numbers increase this will be impossible to repeat , but at least it worked for us for one night only.

Also we got to sit in our designated seat for the first half , and noticed that where our season tickets are was unoccupied so went there for the second half .
