i'm currently at a hedge fund startup; prior to that it was airport parking/travel, a university software department, a new media consultancy type environment, mobile (in the pre-smartphone days)... the bulk of it has been full-stack web development, though. that said, over the years i've had a natural drift to looking after people in senior/managerial roles, or starting departments up from scratch and putting everything in place as places grow organically.

at least one of the interviews went well enough that they've already arranged the second stage interview for friday, so that's good.
