I wondered if we'd be able to keep him from the likes of a Barca or a Real as I was expecting a £100m bid from one of them
His 1st 18 months he was superb
However once Silva was sacked his form went with it
His last 2 seasons with us were disappointing, really disappointing. He missed some absolute sitters, couldn't beat a man and at times looked like he'd never played football
I was surprised Spurs paid £60m for him which considering I was worried about losing him for £100m just shows how his form nosedived
Other than a 3 month spell last season he's been really poor in his last 5 seasons - I suppose it would be low risk if we could free up a loan spot as he would give 110% for us. However I've read some fans saying we should offer Spurs Branthwaite in exchange for him which would value Richie at £60m+ which is just madness and fans ruling with their hearts and not their heads
Considering many fans believe he stopped us from going down then its worth noting that we only got 39 points in his last season but then averaged 42 points from the next 2 seasons without him despite not replacing him ?
As for Dyche, lets see what the next couple of months bring. Moyes is actually the 1st Everton manager since Koeman not to win their 1st home game and you only have to look back to Lampard's 1st couple of home games when we beat Brentford 4-1 and Leeds 3 nil and see how that turned out - those 2 games we pressed the opposition
It was chalk and cheese today from what we were watching under Dyche but it is one game
I dont get depressed with one defeat and I dont get carried away with one win.
We tended to beat bottom 6 sides under Dyche which is exactly what Spurs are at the moment - I don't think we'd look as good if they had van de Ven, Romero, Udogie, Bentancur, Bissouma, Johnson, Solanke, Vicario
As for Pickford, his performances in the last 2 games have hardly shown me to be wrong in my opinion of him. At fault for both goals today and he couldnt have made it easier for Watkins on Wednesday night if he'd tried Previous Message
I often do, but he’s going through a bad run with his takes on Dyche and Pickford, and now this
You can’t just pretend Richarlison didn’t have a bunch of great years with us / Brazil as a way of justifying not wanting him back. And, if not for that connection, he’d likely have no interest in joining us, either.
Let’s play it out and say he had a few poor years with Fulham or West Ham, but had had three or four really good years with Villa before that, and also established himself as a first choice player for Brazil in that time, becoming a £70m forward in the process. Yes, of course we’d want to see if we could resurrect his career on loan or at the right price (heck, some people were hoping we might sign Willian just the other day).
It’s auntie had bollocks stuff to play let’s pretend when it comes to facts.
I’d have him back in a heartbeat.

....this is meant to be fun, it is meant to be emotional and if it worked, even as loan till the end of the season it would be so much fun!
but you are right. Previous Message
would you be setting your sights on a striker with 31 league goals in 5 years ?
Say Richarlison was playing for a West Ham or Fulham would you be desperate for him at Everton based on what's he's done since 2020 Previous Message
set his sights on a move to the Saudi Pro League.*
If we can shift one of our loanees, worth a cheeky bid to bring him back for the rest of season? After all he told Beechside he loved Everton!!
Imagine front three of McNeil DCL Richarlason and
Ndiaye centre role behind DCL!
