It will take a couple of weeks for him to change mindsets and approaches but it is possible.
There were very small instances yesterday were we tried to play forward (rather than launch it) more than we have done under Dyche, there was a workrate and effort which whilst it should be the bare minimum seemed to be missing from the last few Dyche performances.
There were also signs of trying to play ourselves into better positions and pressing higher, in order to create better opportunities and whilst it didnt go particularly well, trying to do things differently already is a good sign.
The players lack confidence and this will be a big task for Moyes to get into them with results the way they are.
The switch to three at the back and two up top at least showed Moyes was trying to get back into it, rather than the Dyche straight swap, same shit approach.
So for me, yes the squad is poor and limited and needs refreshing but the difference is Moyes is going to try different approaches, try a different game plan, try something different.
Keeping everything the same was sending us down, we might still go down, because the players arent good enough, but at least by trying something else, we are giving ourselves a shot at it.
Thats the key difference for me, under Dyche, nothing was going to change, nothing different was going to be tried, same old same old was going to happen.
Time will tell,

Moyes now knows how limited we are.
Slow, no movement, unable to trap a ball, pass a ball and/or keep possession.
It is blatantly obvious we need a right winger and an alternative to DCL. Our central midfield is pedestrian and only pass sideways or backwards.
We don't have time to wait so incomings must happen urgently.
McNeil is a big miss and his return (?) will give some options. We must find a place for Armstrong and give him a run at the expense of Harrison. It will give us all a lift to so see Moyes mixing it up and give the lad a chance to show the others how to find a pass.
I am confident incoming are imminent and will be 'Moyes ready' as opposed to 'Dyche fit' and hopefully this starts a bounce.
Last night was pitiful and the atmosphere not what it should have been whichbis a concern. We need a lift and soon.
