As initial reactions go, this puts Moyes ahead of Allardyce (4.49), Benitez (4.09) and Dyche (5.81) but behind Lampard (7.32) and unsurprisingly Ancelotti (8.24). Moyes' score is just behind Marco Silva who polled a 6.42 when taking charge so the Scot lands right in the middle of the last 7 appointments in terms of fan satisfaction.
The job ahead for Moyes is crystal clear, secure Premier League survival this season which should allow the club to finally begin moving forward with TFG stabilising finances and providing professional leadership for the first time in decades, and of course the New Stadium with the increased revenue and global profile it will bring to Everton.
Any hopes of a new manager bounce will be tested by our January fixtures of Villa, Spurs and Brighton, before February brings what is likely to be a must win game when Leicester come to Goodison.
With the Dyche era over, lets hope for a lift and some better football and results from Moyes mk II however long his reign lasts. Next poll will be late March.
