Beyond the fact the negotiations were direct with TFG. It s underwhelming to have him back but he is a better manager than Dyche and has been more amenable to flair players in his history provided they also work hard for the team. Will it work? No idea but I live in hope. It is all we have.
Any deals this month will rest heavily on Thelwell no matter his long-term prospects. If he is any use at all he will have an idea of Moyes’ preferences (work rate, athleticism etc.) and red lines (selfish character). Previous Message
