I'm not a great supporter of Dyche by the way. There were times this season I lost faith with him and I'm not lamenting his loss. It's all about survival and - besides the fall out of his departure in 2013 - I dont think Moyes is a guarantee of it.

I have no idea, although I can well understand any EFC reporter wanting to keep on the right side of the new owners.
I'd imagine the truth is somewhere in the middle, i.e they sat down for talks
Friedkins : "you have to be doing better and we want a more positive attacking performance tonight against a lower league side."
Dyche ; "This is the best I can do with these players, only way to improve it is to bring new faces in"
"That's a negative attitude"
"That's the reality of the situation"
"Well it's not exactly encouraging us to let you spend our money"
'Fine, there's nothing more I can do then"
"So, you're resigning?"
"Nope. I'm just telling you that unless you sign the new players I want, we are probably going down and there's nothing I can do about it"
"We're not accepting your ultimatum, clear your desk, you're outta here."
Two sides to the story, but it does seem like Dyche knew things had gone past the point of no return and wanted his payoff, wouldn't be the first time a manager had goaded an owner into sacking him. His old boss Cloughie would have been able to tell him a thing or two about that!
, they said that's a negative attitude and makes us feel more reluctant to trust you, he said fine, there's nothing more I can do, Previous Message
...spin from a client journalist on behalf of these owners.
Do we learn nothing. Journalists work for the people they want favours off not to hand clarity to fans. We above all know that. Previous Message
So how can you claim he would have turned us around, when he even he doesn’t believe that? Previous Message
Blaming a manager who handed us our only season of football joy since the 1980s is pretty bizarre.
Lets just hope the dour Moyes can do what Dyche did (and would have done again) and get us safe...and then get to fuck again. Previous Message
Roberto Martinez started our decline and Moyes should’ve been reappointed when he was rightly sacked. Just a shame it’s took nearly a decade for us to see sense and give him the job back.
