I think Dyche seriously got it wrong in terms of how to handle the new owners, that's if he really wanted to stay and wasn't trying to engineer his sacking.
I think Dyche's strangely thin skinned at times and comes across a bit David Brent tbh. Previous Message
I'm my business life I've dealt with some of the biggest US companies at senior US management level -VP level.
In my experience to expect them to give a fulsome thank you to an employee they have just fired is never going to happen.
Everything with them is transactional+ pay for something and get something in return. I'm sure they would have been disgusted if they thought Dyche had given up and was not giving value for his salary. Nearly all US employees I've come across have almost a cult like attachment to theor company so slacking seldom happens.
There is no to little employment protection so firing at the drop of a hat is more prevalent.
If they felt Dyche was trying to beat them with compensation there was never going to be any thank you message. I'm amazed they didn't put out a message calling him out for damaging the "business".
I'd like to think all this will in time bring a refreshing change from Kenwright giving the person who ran the charity the job of CEO because they were mates. Previous Message
I know it's been touched on below but I genuinely thought we'd issue something more substantial today.
Fuck knows where we'd be without him. How hard was it to say thanks?
