...to the extent to which our own government is actively abetting it, to which the most powerful nation in the world is sanctioning it, to the daily cross-media noise of our ruling classes pledging their support to it, to the bombardment of graphic images that people see on social media every day.

Obviously there are people out there who just plain old hate Jews. But I've been alarmed to discover quite how many people just can't seem to take the horror and human empathy of others at face value. Anyone with children, seeing the things we see every day and watching helplessly as our politicians greenlight even more of it, should be beyond desperate for it all to stop.

I know some readers' eyes will have started to roll the moment I mentioned children and to be honest, if that's the case, I really don't know that there's anything we can say to each other to even begin to reconcile our perspectives.
