X has undoubtedly deteriorated and there's been some exodus of accounts that I follow. But I still find it useful at a professional level (in my case academic information exchange) and for some current affairs. I never get involved in arguments as that is the route to raised blood pressure, to say nothing of utterly pointless activity as you can't change the minds of the mindless.

I normally last about 10 minutes listening to Question Time before switching off in despair and radio phone ins largely attract a horrible combination of know nothings and know it alls.

There is however, a lot of interesting media out there if you are prepared to be curious and selective.
