...me personally I've never had FB (apart from a couple of months early on), Insta, or any of the others. I have enjoyed Twitter/X until basically the downhill slide since Musk took over.

I think with moderation, it's a useful and interesting source of information, without moderation and when it appears to become acceptable that racist abuse won't be acted upon, then it somewhat loses its appeal.
