Seems no.10 is a euphemism for otherwise not great
Any team that plays Tarks and Keane will have to defend deep as they are far too slow to push up the pitch. Then to play Keane on the left side when he is right footed means that he is not much help to the left back.
If you look at our first half on Saturday, Myko pushed up far more than he had in ages and JB was comforable stepping in behind him. JB tired in the second half (as did Gueye after 60 mins) and we struggled.... but the signs were there that once JB gets match fit, we will improve our ability to push up on the left side.
I thought Lindstrom did well against W/ham, but cannot understand why he is out right and not in the No 10 slot (he is not a winger)..... a good right winger with pace could transform our team. However with no money and limited choices, I can understand why Dyches decisions are firmly based on avoiding heavy losses that can drag a team down rapidly.
We are where we are thanks to years of poor management at the top, changing manager should only be considered if the team is in freefall..... and we are certainly not there at the moment.
