from: West Ham were there for the taking, and we should have made positive substitutions much earlier.
to: the objective was a clean sheet and take a point and that's what happened. you might say Dyche got lucky that Pickford made that save at the end, but having a good GK, who makes those types of save, is part of his game plan. So if we were to judge Dyche on what he set out to achieve, it was a moderate success and we move on.
Another point I'd make is that all the players are trying hard and putting in a shift. You might say that's the bare minimum to expect but our recent history shows it can't be taken for granted.
We're hard to beat, well organised, and out of the relegation zone. Tough fixtures coming up, but West Ham and Leicester are the two teams above us, and hardly lighting up the league. It's been a disappointing start to the season but closer to 14th than the bottom 3.
