if we were home to Ipswich and 2-1 down and

- Harrison skied it from inside the penalty box [Werner]
- DCL was one on one and hit it at the keeper [Solanke]
- Young had a free kick right at the death and didn't clear the first man [Porro]

We'd be saying they were shite. Well Werner was £8m, Solanke was £55m and Porro was £33m.

Our three were £1.5m between them.

I'm not saying theirs are just as bad, but even being able to spend ~£95m on three players doesn't guarantee that you're not going to leave the game fuming.


Ipswich and Saints might do better than some of us had hoped. But to be honest I still think a conservative approach of trying to draw away games, and win the actually "must win" home games should keep us up.
