...with blue-tinted specs. It always used to be that the benefit of the doubt was given to the attacker -until they have improved the technology (or the people using it!) then that's what should happen - especially, as you say, when it wasn't even flagged as offside in the first place.

I still insist that VAR should be used based on it's name - i.e. to ASSIST the referee, not to re-referee the game, or to guess. The technology could be so much better if it was just used correctly and consistently (and by non-referees who aren't terrified of going against Michael Oliver and Anthony Taylor)
