If I’ve seen you when I’m out running (which I am a lot) and you were wearing anything Everton related I’m certain I would have said up the toffees to you at some point then! My eldest also pretty much lives in Everton shirts too still so you’ve probably seen him if you are local!
Same area I think, there’s a few Blues around town but not many showing off Everton scarves, tops etc too often at the moment! A few years ago when my Dad was too ill to go before he passed I stetted getting the train up, there were several Evertonians going to the game (Stoke game where Rooney scored), not seen many of them since then, but there are some about!
Not too many of us round here! I’m in Bobblestock.
1 up on 60 odd minutes, lose 3-1, no Merseyrail after, rain pudding down bus stuck in traffic so missed the train back here that I wanted so back here at 10pm wondering what was the point, var seeing a few mates and familiar faces around where I’ve sat for 20+ years
Not that it got much better after but the derby gsme papered over sone cracks for a bit
The period at the end of last season was a relief, the time in last December was ok but I genuinely can’t remember looking forward to Everton playing for some time.
Take any pleasure from being an Everton fan right now isn’t it? Genuinely hoping for worse teams all the time whilst seeing others also make some progress. Plenty of crap in the league and we’re definitely part of that crap aren’t we.
It's demoralising and dispiriting. But the takeover will bring change, including the manager. The issue is whether it will be done in time and with sufficient purpose to save our season and sanity.
I could do with some nice distractions in my life at the moment.
Not this shower making me more anxious.
If it wasn’t for the new stadium, we wouldn’t have much going for us.
