to keep us up. If you accept we’re going to lose home and away to City and Arsenal there are 102 points to play for. Playing a n approach that has a 30% chance of getting a point, especially away from home, isn’t a completely wrongheaded strategy. I can’t watch it, and I think we can do better without becoming Ossie Ardiles’s Spurs, but in Dyche’s defence, we really had a 30% chance of coming away with a point yesterday. NSNO it isn’t. But neither is having Beto get our best chances.

Roll on the takeover. I want him gone, but ideally with dignity and without the abuse our less evolved fans pour on him.

Obviously that results in a lot of passes for them in their own half, but on a fair few occasions our hunting in packs did create turnovers, which obviously we wasted.

But the idea that it was a negative approach is something I fundamentally disagree with.

Sadly I think any attempt to look at the situation with nuance is just shouted down right now.

So he's toast sooner or later. Barring an unexpected transfer window we'll be back here in a few months having the same debates, if he is replaced soon. Moyes or anyone else will set these players up in largely the same way.
