Iwobi - had 6 good months under Lampard, aside from that he was pretty average at best - wouldnt make a difference to this side
Gray - I liked him, Dyche didnt want him, was obvious from Grays comments. Would be good on the break or from the bench, but Dyche chose to get rid.
Onana - Wasnt that effective last season in this kind of set up.
You say he is trying to make the most out of the players, I disagree. I think he has a system, and we play that irrespective of players
We arent trying to play football or keep the ball, I dont mean possession for the hell of it, but at least string 5 passes together.
We are awful to watch
10 games in I've seen most sides 2-3 times, we are the worst in how we set up and play.
We do not have the worst players, Dyche isnt even trying to play football
we were a tad unlucky today, but thats been the excuse for over a year - and the likes of wolves and palace have had just as much bad luck.
If we had these exact players in the championship, I think we'd set up exactly the same.
I dont think we should be 6th or flying high, but we are letting winnable games pass us by.
We invite pressure by allowing teams to dominate, we rely on set pieces and counter attacks, except we are pretty shit at counter attacks.
I dont think it helps that he is left hanging, managers rarely go into the final year of their contract, unless its their choice (Klopp and Pep chose to) he probably thinks he is out on his ear anyway. So I have sympathy for him in that respect
but...
try something different ?
He could have gone 442 today with Beto and DCL
He's said Lindstrom wasnt quite fit...
Or he could help himself by getting them to play 10-15 yards further up, and getting support to DCL
but its the same week in week out
and its horrible
