He's that really strange animal: a good mediocre manager. He really does get the 38 points out of whatever trash he's given. I don't think he'd do much better with better players, and I don't think he'd ever get relegated unless his trusted players were sold out from under him again and again.

Most mediocre managers produce volatile results, or are reliant on one particular forward, or get found out in a year in the PL or whatever. But Dyche is like the Magnus Carlsen of keeping us up. I really admire it. I look forward to us having a better manager.
