My landlord had over 100 houses, all jobs etc contracted out

So I'd liken that to... I dunno owning shares and getting a dividend and paying someone to look after the share portfolio etc. Like you say, not a job.

Where as someone with say 2 houses, who does the fixing up etc, then its a job.
