Maybe. I’m not sure that’s fair on them. They might actually want food prices to soar and Gaza to be leveled and Elon Musk to bring the organizational beauty of X to government and for women’s pregnancies to be registered on a national registry and so on.
Obviously Trump is ignorant beyond belief and has exactly zero clue how tariffs affect the lives of ordinary folks. But saying people don’t believe his promises and are voting for him anyway despite a judge adjudicating him a rapist seems a little unfair on his voters. The evangelicals voted for him in 2016 because he promised to overturn Row v Wade and he delivered.
