...yesterday he popped into St. Luke's pre-match yesterday and I managed to grab him for a chat and a photo opportunity for the FAB.
He was absolutely buzzing from looking around all the memorabilia in St Luke's (his first visit there) and excitedly talked me through the carrier bag full of stuff that he had bought, including an old shirt and (expensive!) books signed by Dixie Dean.
He asked me where the #StopExploitingLoyalty protest was taking place so I told him that it was at the Dixie Dean statue and that I was just about to head down there now. Thus I found myself walking down Goodison Road with him, while he asked about the FAB and told me that it was probably his last visit to Goodison and was remembering loads of happy memories walking down there, in amongst stopping at nearly every stall to buy a hat, scarf or badge of some kind!
A really nice fella, and clearly an absolutely fanatical Evertonian - just a shame he chose such a shite game to attend!
