From what Meis says, the noise at BMD will surprise people..it's built to be loud.( Mind you it will only be loud if people make it such) and that kind of environment will demand the kind of football to compliment it.
Conversely,if the football played isn't agreeable the 'negative' reactions will be amplified to.
we are now in a position where avoiding relegation is seen as a successful season. In the context of what's going on off the field, that's understandable - the situation he came into and the points deductions could quite easily have been too much to overcome but keep us up he did, and credit is due there. Can he do more than that given a proper transfer budget and competent ownership? Maybe. I just think he's risk averse and will always favour the journeyman pro, "doing the hard yards", "sweat on the shirt" etc, playing the percentages. I just don't know how much we can progress with the likes of Harrison and Doucoure being handed regular starts. Looks likely DCL will go, and who can blame him given the service he gets (or rather doesn't). There's a big rebuilding job needed and I am not sure Dyche is the best man to manage it. He should get at least the rest of the season though, and the Friedkins will be able to take their time working out what's what including identifying a successor. Maybe we'll really start to pick up momentum and they'll offer him a new deal, but I doubt it.
No Dyche… no Premier League.
He’s got faults, but he deserves any plaudits that comes his way. The last few seasons have been a shit show. Constant relegation battles - we all know the reasons why - which DO wear everyone down. This also impacts how attractive we are to players too.
The aim is to stay in the Premier League and for that reason the football has to be functional. Boring - yes. But it’s essentially doing the very best with the players we have got.
The Friedkin take over thou has got me excited. I’m starting to look at other players who we should be able to afford with the new owner.
Delay at Ipswich has certainly impressed and there are others too…. So there are things to look forward too.
Question is … new owners… new stadium… do you think a new manager and backroom staff is too many changes all at once ??? I know I’m in the minority but I’d be tempted to keep Dyche at least for another season to ensure some element of stability for long term gain….
Questions, questions, questions…

again and enjoy watching us play football. It’s not that many matches it has happened under Dyche in my opinion. We’ve had some great results, and for that I will always be grateful and thankful for him, but we are extremely boring to watch.
