He is so defensive in his nature and the whole game plan is to soak up pressure and hit on the break \ set peices. There is no game plan other than that at a high level. Yes I am sure there is loads of detail put into carry this out, but at a high level - defend, don't concede, play % balls that 1 in 5 produce some sort of chance, do that endlessly and ultimately someone scores.

It does work a bit so we will stay up. But it is a very cynical style and shit to watch.

I'm not anti dyche as such, I think he has his plan and I think it's a rational plan. But when your plan is to kick it up from the goalie or play the channels, it's only going to work so much in the modern game.

I don't blame him - his job is really to keep us up. If we had cash and players and everything else, maybe his plan would change? I like to think so.
