It does work a bit so we will stay up. But it is a very cynical style and shit to watch.
I'm not anti dyche as such, I think he has his plan and I think it's a rational plan. But when your plan is to kick it up from the goalie or play the channels, it's only going to work so much in the modern game.
I don't blame him - his job is really to keep us up. If we had cash and players and everything else, maybe his plan would change? I like to think so.
or Beto - the extra man in midfield makes f%^k all difference when it's Harrison anyway.
Utterly aimless long balls, often from Pickford, almost none of which were one by DCL or anyone else. Meanwhile Fulham were giving us an absolute football lesson if movement and passing.
Putting Keane up top alongside Beto at least created a bit of a contest in their box, but we can't do that every week. Lindstrom didn't achieve a great deal, but as usual he at least tries to be positive, which is what we needed.
That was a very, very lucky point.
