Doucoure either passes it back to the person who gave him it, or goes backwards/sideways. Summed it up late on when he just passed the ball out of play under no pressure

That you can't play Doucoure as a deep lying midfielder. It was obvious that wasn't working after 15minutes and he should have changed it then.

DCL doesn’t look bothered to me, & is getting bullied by every defender we play. To be fair he can’t knock long balls down to himself & the only balls to feet are when he’s on the wing (why? Get in the middle!!!)
I heard someone on R5 say Doucoure spent more time marking Gana while Berge ran free. Fair comment….
I enjoyed the Beto/Keane combo & a bit of aggression is what we need. More of that please?
