Even if a serious bid had come in for him and we'd have turned it down we'd have publicised it to try and show we aren't a selling club
And if we didnt then I'm sure The Bobble would have told us
I think you've missed at least one asset.
Clue: He's an England regular who saved a penalty last Saturday.
Who in our side would be sold for more than £25m ?
Branthwaite - that's it - he's started 1 game this season
The rest of the squad is a mishmash of players past their best, Coleman, Gueye, Doucoure, Young, Tarkowski, loan signings and lads who've managed to get because they were shoite last season - Ndiaye, Lindstrom, Broja
Leicester when they went down had Harvey Barnes, Vardy, Ndidi, Tielemans, Maddison - all players who were either worth or sold for £40m+
As I said - we have one saleable asset
Other than meeting family & friends it is a soulless experience.
Not confident before any game anymore. Knowing the football will be turgid. Looking at other results after a week of the season. Feeling like “why bother” after 90% of games.
We have a squad that is massively underperforming. Yes some injuries but Christ all clubs get these.
This pre dates Dyche. We have players who are on stupid money who can’t do the absolute basics. I can go back years thinking that we will improve when player X leaves and is replaced. We haven’t changed a jot though.
At least with Dyche you can see a system. It’s awful to watch and thus far not particularly good for points.
After 244 votes were cast, Sean Dyche scores a satisfaction rating of 4.89.
This is by far the lowest that Sean Dyche has polled, almost a full rating point down on the 5.81 he polled at the time of his appointment.
Further to this, the drop of 2.58 from poll to poll is the 4th most significant since we started polling. Benitez and Koeman had support slumps of 2.83 and 2.64 respectively and were sacked soon after. Silva had a 2.67 drop but hung on for another few months and survived another poll before he too was axed.
Looking for positives, it must be acknowledged that a poll was skipped that may have bridged the decline of support less dramatically than we have now witnessed. Further to this, while this drop puts him in and around the level of those who were sacked shortly after, Dyche's 4.89 is notably higher than the scores of RK (3.64), MS (4.11) and RB (2.87). This suggests Dyche still retains enough fanbase support that his job isn't in immediate danger unless results notably decline again in the coming weeks. Whether the results and performances in the months ahead will be enough to satisfy the Friedkins is another question entirely.

Next Poll is likely to be towards the end of the year if not the FA Cup break in early January. There could be 13 league matches played by then. Dyche will need to pick up a number of points before December as a run of sequential matches against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and City will be extremely difficult.
